Job Description
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing project accounts across commercial and industrial projects, ensuring financial discipline, documentation accuracy, billing coordination, and client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
This role bridges sales, project execution, procurement, and finance to ensure smooth commercial closure and revenue realization for HVAC, lab furniture, cleanroom, and turnkey MEP projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management
- Manage assigned project accounts from project award to final billing.
- Coordinate with project managers to track milestones, billing stages, and variations.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices, RA bills, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain professional communication with procurement heads, finance teams, and plant managers.
2. Billing & Commercial Coordination
- Prepare and verify BOQs, work orders, tax invoices, and debit/credit notes.
- Track payment schedules and follow up on receivables.
- Support tender-to-execution commercial handover process.
- Maintain updated records of contracts, amendments, and change orders.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain DCs, invoice acknowledgments, and project commercial files.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure statutory compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Support audits by maintaining structured and retrievable records.
4. Financial Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor project-wise revenue realization and outstanding payments.
- Prepare account status reports including paid vs due summaries.
- Support management with project profitability and billing dashboards.
5. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with sales, project, procurement, and finance teams.
- Ensure commercial clarity during project kick-off meetings.
- Escalate payment risks or documentation gaps proactively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounts, billing, or commercial coordination (preferably in EPC / HVAC / Industrial Projects).
- Strong understanding of GST, invoicing, and project billing structures.
- Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets and ERP systems (Zoho, Tally, or equivalent).
Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling government, PSU, or large industrial accounts.
- Exposure to turnkey MEP, HVAC, or cleanroom projects.
- Familiarity with RA billing and milestone-based project accounting.
