MEP Site Engineer – Large Scale Projects (2-3 Experience)

Job Responsibilities:
- Site Management:
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with the construction team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate MEP activities and resolve site-related issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of MEP installations with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address potential issues and maintain high-quality standards.
- Project Coordination:
- Work closely with the MEP design team, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design-related challenges during the construction phase.
- Facilitate effective communication between design and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support to the construction team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues on-site, collaborating with the design team as needed.
- Client Interaction:
- Interact with clients and project stakeholders to address concerns, provide progress updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on MEP-related activities and milestones.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of MEP installations, testing procedures, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare regular progress reports for project management and clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
- years of experience in MEP construction, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS excel, Powerpoint will be an added advantage
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
