Procurement Executive/Manager-HVAC related experience only Immediate Joiners

Position Overview: The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement activities within the organization. This includes the strategic sourcing, purchasing, and managing of materials, goods, and services required by the company. The role ensures that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational needs.
    • Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the availability of high-quality goods and services.
    • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to forecast procurement needs.
  2. Supplier Management:
    • Identify and evaluate new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure timely deliveries.
    • Perform regular supplier performance evaluations and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  3. Inventory Management:
    • Collaborate with inventory control teams to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure no shortages or overstock situations.
    • Ensure all orders are processed on time and meet production or project timelines
  4. Budget Management & Cost Control:
    • Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices.
    • Monitor and report on spending and take corrective actions to stay within budget.
  5. Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure that all procurement activities are in compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supplier communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3 to 4+ years) in purchasing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
