HVAC Design Engineer (2-3 Experience)

As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic MEP Design Engineer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to define MEP scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project design.
• HVAC System Design:
  • Develop detailed Hvac design drawings, specifications, and calculations in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and local codes.
  • Design HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems for large and complex structures, considering energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MEP design and construction.
  • Apply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy, compliance with codes, and adherence to company standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and functionality of MEP systems.
• Client Interaction:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide technical guidance.
  • Present and explain MEP design concepts to clients and project stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
• Construction Support:
  • Collaborate with the construction team to provide technical support during the implementation phase.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure MEP systems are installed in accordance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Budget and Resource Management:
  • Assist in preparing project budgets for MEP systems and monitor expenditures throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Optimize resource utilization and propose cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 Experience in HVAC Design 
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
• years of experience in MEP design for large-scale projects, with a focus on airports, metro stations, shopping malls, corporate tech parks, and retail stores.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Proficiency in MS excel will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
